Bonnie
Bonnie, a popular Scottish term meaning lovely, pretty, very pleasing to the eye. It inspired me to create a perfume potion using only aromatic flora native to Scotland, and in this case, ingredients that folklore professes to amplify one's positive attributes in the eye of the beholder. A "glamour", or magical prettying potion, this potion weaves a spell to enhance one's innate beauty, attract friendship and love.
Interestingly, the plants I chose also have protective properties... which one needs, I suppose, if you're going around being all pretty and attracting extra attention. Magical lore attributes these ingredients with added protection against violent crime, and for preservation of chastity.
This is one of my all-time favorites. It smells thoroughly fresh and natural, as if one soaked up the scent from the sunshine and the beauty of nature around you.
