Elementary™ for Men - Chapter 4
The fourth edition of one of our most popular male fragrances! Since 2004 we've been honoring our very favorite detective, Sherlock Holmes, with a scented interpretation of this enduring literary creation. All versions are based on the same concept and core ingredients, but each variant is unique. This year's brew features a woody base of Oak resinoid, pine and woodsmoke, with accents of suede and tobacco, the warmth of steeped white tea laced with a touch of brandy, a clean breath of Asian paperwhites, and a special 7% dilution of buchu EO, sourced directly from the Cedarberg Mountains of South Africa. We finish it with a dusting of dry manly spice, and the resulting acclaim when you wear it...why, it's Elementary, my dear!
Dr. Skye Chadwick entered 221b Baker Street, laden with packages, and was promptly greeted by Sherlock Holmes emerging from the lab.
"My dear Skye!" he exclaimed, relieving her of the heavier bundles.
"Thanks," Skye panted as they turned toward the stairs. "Oh, good! The laundry's done; you've lit a fire and the tea's on."
"And you deduced these how?"
"When you grabbed the bags, I caught a good whiff of you. Besides your shirt's linen scent and the pipe tobacco, I could smell fresh oak and pinewood, which means you've just lit the fire."
"I can smell white tea," Sky informed him as they entered the sitting room with its crackling fire and plopped the bags on the leather sofa. "And by the spiced brandy on your breath, you've decided on something a bit stronger for yourself."
"Capital!" Holmes cried, sweeping a hand at the tea-table. "Every whit true. It is not your Colorado ranch, but...do you like it here, my dear?" Skye smiled.
"It looks like you, it feels like you, it smells like you, Sherlock," she told him. "What's not to like?"
