HOW TO CAST YOUR SPELL:

VISUALIZE ~ Think about what your goal or intention is for your Private Edition. Would you like something to wear at work? Something sexy for date night? Something soothing to help you relax? Something elegant for a special occasion? A signature scent you can wear for any occasion? Do you wish it to convey a particular season of the year? Maybe you want a spell potion for a specific purpose and would like me to choose the notes?

WEAVE YOUR MAGIC ~ Tell me your story. You might be trying to recapture a childhood experience – picking berries in the woods in the Autumn...watching a concert in Central Park in the Summer...baking cookies with Grandma at Christmas. You might be trying to set the perfect romantic atmosphere, or garner more respect at work, or make your boyfriend drool by smelling like a cupcake. The more detail you can convey to me, the more tools I have to capture the atmosphere you desire. Scent is the strongest memory trigger we've got, so take your time and let your imagination transport you to your special moment and tell me what it's like.

MANIFEST ~ You get to choose 4 perfume notes. I have over 10,000 ingredients in my studio with many subtle differences, so rather than just saying “vanilla”, you can say, “a thick sweet vanilla that smells like cake batter”, or, “a boozy vanilla extract note”, or, “a dry, powdery non-foody/perfumey kind of vanilla”. You choose 4 notes, but it is likely I will use around 12. Your notes give me the framework from which to build your perfumed story.

$29.95 for every additional bottle.

You'll be ordering here but you'll need to send me an email with your info, proposed perfume name, and attach an image for your label if you desire. (We can also choose a name and label for you if you prefer.)

If you opt to add pheromones, you will also need to let me know which blend you would like or what you would like the pheromone to do.

I need an average of SIX WEEKS from date of order to date of delivery for a Private Edition, so please give yourself ample time if you have a special occasion coming up.

Please understand that we do not duplicate commercial fragrances, and as I am not well-versed in what commercial brands smell like, please avoid using comparisons within your description. (Also, LPMP catalog fragrances cannot be directly duplicated as Private Edition fragrances.)

This is a 'one shot deal' kind of service. You describe what you want to the best of your ability and I create it to the best of mine. You may notice that there are other services of this kind available on the internet and their prices start in the hundreds and go up to thousands. We offer a higher level service as well, where you and I can mail samples back and forth to each other multiple times and we keep tweaking your scent until we get it exactly where you want it. We call this our Bridal Service and the cost starts at $350. But this Private Edition service is fun and casual, many of our customers order PEs on a regular basis and have a dozen or more, so if we don't hit it exactly right the first time, this service is affordable enough to try again.

Many times when we make Private Editions for our clients, there is some left over and we share the extra with the public. (We solemnly swear never to share any of your intimate details, don't worry!) Just a few bottles mostly. Extremely limited quantity. So be prepared to see your perfume up here, and you may find yourself garnering a following for your creations. Some of our frequent creators have their own mini fan clubs!
